NEW ERA IN ORDER MANAGEMENT WITH EDS: WASTE PLANNING

Enfotek ERP, PLM and PDM Software Solutions is continuously enhancing its ERP systems with new features designed to increase efficiency in your production and supply processes. With Enfotek ERP, PLM and PDM Software Solutions, it is now possible to determine size-based waste rates for orders that exhibit variability in order quantities.

INCREASED EFFICIENCY

Thanks to EDS’s "Waste Planning According to Order/Planned Quantity" feature, you can specify which material this application will be used for through the "Material Customer Quantity Range Settings" form in the Material Settings module. In this form, by defining the initial and final values of orders for each customer or usage area, specific waste rates can be assigned to each range. This ensures that waste rates for selected materials are calculated within appropriate ranges based on order or planned quantities, thereby improving efficiency in the supply process.

MORE EFFECTIVE SUPPLY PROCESS

With this new feature, it is now possible to introduce a new adjustment to the calculated requirement amounts in supply processes that have minimum purchase or demand quantities. By adding a certain numerical or percentage excess to the calculated requirement, you can execute approval need adjustments. This feature can be utilized by specifying it in the "Material Customer Quantity Range Settings" form in the Material Settings module. By defining the "Add Requirement (Numerical Excess)" or "Add Requirement Percentage (Percentage Excess)" options according to the initial and final value ranges of requirement calculations, the supply process can be made more effective.
