Hello Mr. Tuncay, can we get information about FB Tekstil from you?
FB Tekstil was founded in 1995. It has been serving in the textile industry for a quarter of a century. It is a company that produces for countries such as Germany, America, England and only exports. Our company has 3 factories of its own. These factories are located in İzmir, Manisa and Van. Apart from that, we also work with companies that we call subcontractors in terms of production and supply. We design our own products with our design teams. Our model team is also very active and strong. These are the essentials of the industry.
How many years have you been using EDS?
FB Tekstil has been using EDS for many years. The process started with EDS 2 and continued with the transition to EDS 6 in 2017. We are currently using the latest version, EDS 7.
So, what are the contributions of EDS to the business?
With EDS, we started to see the numbers. We learned to work with the report. Frankly, EDS has been our biggest tool in this regard. We were able to meet all the necessary data from EDS, both for production follow-ups, for tracking numbers, and for increasing efficiency. Before ordering, we also used tools such as giving samples and collections via EDS. And these gave us different data. For example, we can get data from EDS, such as how many models of a designer have returned to order. And so, this also shows us that there is a program that affects employee and company performance and helps you calculate productivity.
We know that you are a good EDS user. What are your favorite features of the program?
My favorite features in my program are the pivot parts. Since I deal with reporting, I can easily reach the details I want in the order by pivoting. Especially every person who knows Excel well can benefit heavily from pivot parts.
Now let's talk about Enfotek. What can you say about Enfotek's consultancy services?
From the very beginning of Enfotek, we had no problems with consultancy. Of course, it took time for the ERP culture to settle in the company, but they tried to help us whenever we wanted. In general, everything is positive from our side. I think our communication is good.
So, what would you recommend to companies in the setup process about ERP? What would you recommend for an easy and efficient installation of the system?
Before the technical details, I think the main point is the establishment of the infrastructure of the ERP culture of the companies. If you can teach the employees in the company that EDS is a program that will make their work easier, the integration will be easy. So implementation can be difficult without the idea being settled.
Why would you recommend EDS to businesses? And can you tell us about the advantages of the program in a highly competitive environment?
The program offers a very successful data flow to the owners of the companies, especially in the upper management part. Because it provides us with the evaluation of all employees and units, since we can get the numerical achievements and data. EDS is very successful in the textile industry. As of this year, there is a serious price pressure on companies. This means that you should do your work at less cost without sacrificing quality. Naturally, we need to increase efficiency in this regard. The more efficiently we work to lower the price, the more advantage we can gain in terms of price. We reduce both operating expenses and ordering costs. In order to achieve this efficiency, we need to be involved and have all the details and be able to control them. Here, EDS offers you all the tools you want in this regard.
